We have some unforgettable and nostalgic memories from Pinegrove School, of the historic event. The Platinum Jubilee Conclave of the IPSC 2014. The entire show was very well conceived, planned and flawlessly executed. The theme, the inaugural function (including the Band Display of the school) , the key-note addresses were befitting to the importance of the event . The workshop on the theme of the session `Nurturing Hearts` was well planned and well conducted. The cultural programmes were very well presented; the drama `Pinjara` was very powerful. The social functions in the evening were most enjoyable. The liaison officers were very sweet and very helpful. Incidentally, we found ever body we interacted with very pleasant, very helpful and speaking very well about `Pinegrove School`. Even the children were very sweet and appeared to be very well settled. We are happy that the historic function was held in a school, which is a class by itself and a worthy member of the IPSC community. There could not have been a better place to conduct the Platinum Jubilee of the IPSC. We are sure that all this would not have been possible but for your personal guidance, leadership and hard work; and in your efforts, your Team ably supported you. It was one of the most delightful moments of my life to have witnessed such a unique and wonderfully presented Annual Prize Distribution of a School. Pinegrove is situated in a beautiful environment deep in the lap of nature. The performance of the students displayed the highest standards of discipline, coordination and sequence resulting in an exemplary function.The opening item was the School`s NCC Parade and Guard of Honour, which was the highlight of the day and it looked as if Gentleman Cadets of the IMA in Dehradun were performing their passing out parade. This was followed by Yoga which was like Swami Ram Dev`s Camp in progress. The Gymnastics display was comparable to a national level competition and the Rajasthan Dance mesmerized the public and took them right into the interiors of the sand dunes of Jaiselmer. The Indian Orchestra presented by over fifty students was brilliant and the School`s Annual Report presented by four small students of Class-V, stole the hearts of the audience and was par-excellence. The one-act play `Ahmed` was truly in consonance with the need of the hour and promoted National Integration and Secularism. The play was wonderfully directed and acted. All the items presented were truly of the highest quality ever witnessed by me. I am very pleased to see that Pinegrove is doing great yeoman service to the society and providing quality education to the students from all over India and is one of the best schools I have ever visited. The other high standards of the school including discipline, academics and other activities have been established by the dedicated efforts of Capt. AJ Singh and his partner Mrs. Samiksha and they both need to be congratulated for their stupendous efforts in making Pinegrove one of the best schools not only in Himachal but all over India.
